Was the time immediate after I had resigned from the greek army and with one of my childhood friends the Kostas Papandronis (unfortunately he died during the coronavirus pandemic) we had made a hiking trip from Platanias village to the monastery of Prousos (15 kilometers of hike), where and we had stayed one night in a hotel in the Prousos village. This photo and the next of this is from this hiking trip, the photo is located outside the mountain village Makria Loga where we had made a short brake from the hiking, and in the photo, I am me on a small wooden bridge over a seasonal small stream.
In this photo we had gone further and were higher in the mountains ,the Monastery of Prouses and the village of the same name is located in a fairly mountainous area (we also carried our backpacks with our belongings on our backs, the straps on my shoulders are visible)

This photo is located in my aunt’s Eleni Mantzana and my uncle’s Thanasis Mantzanas house in argyroupoli-attica , 42 Kyprion agoniston street. Them me and my siblings lived in our aunt’s Eleni Mantzana house in the 2nd floor where have a big terrace from where is this photo , in the photo I’m me with the little then puppy which we had named she Dolly. Then in 1995 I was working in a Petrol station in polygono area-athens, it was my first job in athens and for the first six months where I had worked there I was working only night shift from 22:00 night until 06:00 morning, Monday to Saterday, and Sundays I had day of. The manager of the petrol station was a fellow villager of my Mother’s origin family, his name Kostas Vlachos. It was not a career job, but it was an honest and decent job and it was a start for me in athens. During the first six months where I was working there, was working night shift and after the permission of the manager Kostas Vlachos I was washing some (few) taxi cars (2–3 taxi cars were coming frequently) in the nights and keep these money for me in order to have an extra night’s wage. In the opposite from the Petrol Station side of the road was a company named “intrasoft” It belonged to a very well-known businessmanat the time who was and president for some years and of the football olympiacos team, his name is socratis kokalis , and there was always a security guard there at nights, with one of them his first name kostas , I do not remember his last name, we had became friends and enough times when the petrol station had not customers, I was going there and we were speaking to pass better the time, he had and a motorcycle which had gave me one-two times there in order to get used to driving motorcycle with clutch, his brother had dogs and he (the Kostas) had gave me and the little puppy Dolly, which puppy we had keep for fifteen twenty days in the house in kyprion agoniston where lived then and later had came my Father and had took the Dolly puppy for to live a better life in the village Platanias.

In this photo me with my rifle for this mission outside the bridge had under close observation a small Yemenzenian fishing boat which was near the ship. This were not my first mission, my first two missions in the high rise area were with a greek company which called msi (marine securivity international), and in my first mission onboard merchant vessel named “Capetan kostis” I had prevented
a maritime tragedy in which and me I could have lost my life {The owner of “msi” was the politis (his last name) a retired admiral of whom with his brother the Panagiotis Politis, I had collaborated for some time in Delta force Security} It was a period when a naval blockade had been imposed on Yemen, and warships which participiting in the blockade were in the Red Sea, it was night time and duty in the bridge were
the sub captain and one sailor, I was outside the bridge and as it proved later we had course to collision on a stationary warship, the persons who were on duty in bridge had not noticed that in the radar (perhaps the warship, which the next day the sub captain had left a hint that it was an usa warship, to was operating under radar
conceulment), me outside the bridge I noticed light signals and immediately called the officer on duty in bridge so me to inform him, and had came
and the sub captain and the sailor, who sailor was out the first who realize that there was
a ship on our way, immediatly both them run into the bridge to steering wheel and turne
all the steering wheel to the right our ship “Capetan kostis” made a sharp right turn and we passed some meters away from the stem of the warship, me during the incident I was all the time outside the bridge and calculating the distance between the two ships and was calculating if we could manage to turn right in time, when we passed I had entered in the bridge and I
remember the sailor to had hugging yet the large compass of the bridge (we had course to collide on the right side of the warship which
was stationary vertically ahead us). As always since 2009 and after, everyone
try to blame me for everything, so and then everyone tried to blame me for the incident, but I was not driving me the boat, and they tried and to downplay the incident. They did not even mention the incident to me, as if nothing had happened, but I new that I had prevented a maritime tragedy and continued to work for two years at sea.

In this mission I was working in securisoehlen maritime security. (To mention that in all the missions with any company the expenses for hotels, food, airtickets were covering by the companies)
